My Daum – My Mountain Hideaway

My Daum is a sanctuary amidst a stunning panoramic mountain world, in a truly special corner of South Tyrol. A feel-good place for individualists, nature lovers, free spirits – all those for whom genuine luxury means a sense of freedom. Lush green in the summer and snowy white throughout the winter – those are the prevailing colours of an outdoor or wellness holiday in the Dolomites.

At My Daum, authentic indulgence awaits guests from morning to night – at the breakfast buffet or at its Honesty Bar and Honesty Shop, where non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks as well as sweet and savoury snacks can be enjoyed on a self-service basis around the clock. Guests who don’t fancy a Michelin-starred dinner or eating out at a restaurant can simply have a My Daum cooking box delivered to their apartment.

Planning and implementing a production kitchen in tandem with an Honesty Bar and Shop was an incredibly exciting and completely novel endeavour for us. Compared to our previous projects, the particular challenge here was to develop a concept in which guests are not only an integral part of the gastronomic experience, but can also prepare their own meals in their rooms.

This remarkable degree of autonomy required careful spatial and functional planning – from the central production kitchen and freely accessible utility areas all the way to the intuitive furnishings of the apartment rooms. The result is an innovative hospitality experience that unites individuality, comfortable convenience and quality in a whole new way.
