A special project in a special place: The ADLER Spa Resort SICILIA is a year-round retreat in the Torre Salsa Nature Reserve. A truly Mediterranean appreciation of nature is a recurring theme throughout the hotel and its overall concept: architecture, outdoor and wellness facilities, its cuisine – everything is inspired by the sun-kissed south. In the kitchen, there’s one big motto: farm-to-table. Anything that does not grow in the hotel’s own kitchen garden is sourced from local producers in organic and biodynamic quality wherever possible.

Right from the early planning phase, H44Team was actively involved in the design of the ADLER Spa Resort in Sicily, together with its developers and architects. We carefully analysed and thoroughly worked out any crucial issues such as process and logistics planning, calculating waste and laundry volumes or defining a needs-based space allocation plan well in advance.

As the project progressed, H44Team played a key role in developing a viable planning concept – from the initial idea right through to planning the implementation details and ultimately the structural realisation. The open-plan kitchen and the freely structured Osteria in particular were integral parts of our planning and reflect a sophisticated interplay of functionality, aesthetics and guest comfort. Both elements convinced the customer and today contribute significantly to the inviting atmosphere of the resort.
